Magic Mirror macOS App 0.0.1 is officially here! Turn anything on your screen into a floating live mirror.
What it can do
- Window / region mirroring: Mirror any app window, or drag to capture any region inside a window (circular selection supported)
- Multiple container modes: one floating window per mirror / group by app / unified container
- Opacity & click-through: adjust opacity on any mirror, or let clicks pass through
- Scroll to zoom: hover and scroll to zoom — stays crisp when enlarged (dynamic capture resolution)
- Global hotkeys: show/hide, mirror current window, capture region, pin/close/opacity/click-through
- Energy saving: automatically lowers frame rate on low battery or overheating
How to install
- Download the DMG (or ZIP) from the download page
- Open the disk image and drag Magic Mirror into “Applications”
- On first use, grant access in “System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen Recording” and restart the app
